Undergraduate Major Requirements Approved for Department

Our Undergraduate Advisor is Chris Lippitt, clippitt@unm.edu 

Requirements for both the B.A. and B.S. degrees in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies:

• The minimum number of credit hours required is reduced from 42 to 38-39.
• Students will have substantially more flexibility in selecting courses to include in their programs.
• There will be a greater distinction between the B.A. and B.S. programs.
